Read moreI work as a part-time assistant for students with disabilities, part-time copywriter. I live with my family and two spoiled parrots. Books and writing have always been a passion of mine, which has only grown stronger over time. After years of neglecting fiction in favour of academic texts, pursuing degrees in Anthropology and Gender Studies, I’ve returned to my true love. Catalyst for that was reading Fingersmith by Sarah Waters. The book simply wrung my heart dry, put it back together, and then I knew it was a heart of a writer.
When I’m not devouring books, I’m working on my novel, sketching short stories, writing essays or book reviews. I run my own blog with lengthier reviews of sapphic historical fiction, which happens to be my favourite genre. I’m also partial to sci-fi, mystery, or a good horror, but I’m quite happy to give a go to all sorts of things.
When I’m not immersed in the world of the written word, I spend my time outdoors with friends. I like a cozy coffee-shop, a stroll down a park, or a hike up a mountain. Just don’t let me loose inside any bookstores, or my bank-account will weep.
