No Strings for the Summer by Dae Storm is an age gap erotic romance set in a luxurious resort on St. Lucia.
Olivia and Kathleen have a not so cute meet while checking into a luxury resort on St. Lucia. Later that night at the bar sweeter sparks fly over a friendly drink. Before long the two are spending every moment they can having the vacation fling of their lives.
Writing
The story switches between the women in first person format, so the reader knows exactly what the character is thinking, and often in this story, what she’s feeling. Both of them spend a lot of time in bed, and that’s a great part of this erotic novella. But the author also pushes a romantic pairing which enhances the sexual aspect.
Pros And My Favourite Parts
Though this is principally an erotic romance showcasing two hot women who really turn each other on in fun ways, I also found the emotional romance to be sweet and satisfying. They spend a lot of time in bed, but have meaningful time hanging out as well, which made the romance feel organic and believable.
Kudos to the cover artist, who came up with a clever pun before the reader even opens the book. The title says there are no strings for the summer, which is a play on the “hook up only” mentality both women start with. As well, the woman on the cover is wearing a string bikini. Lose the string, lose the bikini, lose your inhibitions and have a great summer hook up.

When younger Olivia meets older Kathleen at a resort on St. Lucia things start out rocky for them. But it doesn’t take long for them to find a hot hook up partner who is easy to fall in love with. The only thing that might stop their relationship from going to another level is their real world issues.
This book offers sexy good times between two women who know what they want and how to please, and along the way they find a sweet romance as well.

“Virgin Bloody Mary, please.”
I saw the slender face of the young woman who had set me straight several hours before. I hadn’t noticed while fuming in the lobby just how vibrant her blonde hair was. It hung in loose, frizzy waves behind her with the sides clipped back. The streaks of lighter blonde practically glowed in the sun.
I realized I was staring, but I couldn’t look away until the bartender vied for my attention. Suddenly, I wasn’t as interested in the alcohol anymore.
“Oh, ah, virgin Piña colada, thanks,” I ordered. A small voice in my head cheered me on.
“You too?” the woman asked and turned to look at me. Her sweet voice was full of amusement at both of us ordering alcoholic drinks sans alcohol.
However, before I could open my mouth, she was wide eyed.
“Oh!” She cleared her throat “…You.”
The way her face flushed deep red made my entire body even warmer than it already was, and I was looking forward to the cold drink.
“Did you think I might have left?” I teased her.
She blinked her big brown eyes. “N-no, I just didn’t expect to see you here. I thought you couldn’t get a room.” Her voice held a slight edge. She was still annoyed with the situation earlier, clearly.
“Well, you didn’t know the whole situation,” I replied. I tried not to sound defensive, but it was difficult.
Her shoulders straightened, and she shifted her body away from me, tensing.
I eyed her briefly while she was sliding her drink closer to her.
